Design office
How does stage 1 of the design office take place?
Assessment, energy analysis, tailor-made solutions.
Evaluating the functioning of your boat
During an interview, we will review the current and future use of your boat as well as the technical documents required to fully understand your project. Additional studies may be added if needed. Essential documents to be provided:
Up-to-date navigation title.
Detailed plan of the whole boat.
Recent stability case.
Boat energy balance
Weenav will carry out a detailed assessment of the energy needs of your boat, taking into account the frequency of trips and navigation conditions to adapt the solutions to your needs.
Analysis of energy needs
Weenav will analyze the routes, the frequency of trips and the conditions of navigation, as well as the energy consumption related to propulsion and activities on board, in order to adjust technical solutions.
Proposal of technical solutions
Based on this analysis, we will recommend technologies and equipment adapted to your needs, and we will refer you to qualified suppliers for optimal implementation.
Deliverables
Stage 1 deliverables
Detailed technical report
You will receive a comprehensive report presenting an analysis of the current performance of your boat, as well as recommendations to optimize its energy efficiency and propulsion.
Assessment of your energy needs
A precise assessment of your energy needs will be carried out, taking into account the routes, navigation conditions, and activities on board, in order to best adapt the technical solutions.

Need more information?
A technical question, missing information, or simple curiosity?
What is the autonomy of an electric boat motor?
The autonomy of an electric motor varies according to the size of your boat and the power required. If you need more power, battery life will be more limited. A prior evaluation of your boat will allow you to obtain more accurate information. For personalized details, we invite you to contact us directly.
What is the energy consumption of an electric motor?
Our electric motors range from 50 kW to 400 kW. At low speeds, consumption can drop to 10 kW, which ensures a minimum autonomy of 10 hours on any boat, depending on specific sailing conditions and battery capacity.
What high performance electric motors are available?
We offer two types of engines; an outboard motor and an inboard motor, each engine is offered in different powers. Our most efficient inboard engine reaches 500 horsepower, while for the outboard motor reaches 300 horsepower. These options ensure optimal performance for a diverse range of marine applications.
Are electric motors sustainable at sea?
Yes, our electric motors are designed for use at sea and are therefore durable. They are certified waterproof and resistant to salt spray, which extends their lifespan. Engines can last up to 100,000 hours, subject to regular and proper maintenance.
How do electric motors perform under difficult conditions?
The torque of electric motors is more powerful than that of internal combustion engines, which allows them to adapt effectively to all navigation conditions. This characteristic is particularly useful in dealing with strong currents, variable weather conditions, and specific propulsion requirements at sea. However, you must learn to use the engine carefully to avoid being surprised by its powerful propulsion.
