What high performance electric motors are available?
We offer two types of engines; an outboard motor and an inboard motor, each engine is offered in different powers. Our most efficient inboard engine reaches 500 horsepower, while for the outboard motor reaches 300 horsepower. These options ensure optimal performance for a diverse range of marine applications.
What is the long-term profitability of an electric motor?
The profitability of an electric motor is achieved within a period of less than 7 years (subsidies not included). This can be achieved by amortizing savings in fuel and maintenance costs compared to a combustion engine. The return on investment will depend on the use of the boat and the specific operating conditions.
What are the steps to convert a combustion engine into an electric motor?
At Weenav, we start with a feasibility analysis to offer you a commercial offer. Then, we assist you in the search for funding and grants. Once this step has been validated, we begin the certification and in-depth study of the system, including battery sizing and carbon balance analysis. After this study, we design the engine and perform tests on the test bench before installing the system in your usual shipyard.
